Fifty Plus League
(Senior League)
Description:
A two person team handicap league (for players 50+ years old in 2008)
playing 9 holes on Thursday mornings. Start at 9:00 a.m. in April; 8:00 a.m. thereafter except on May 22nd and September
11th when events start at 9:00am.
Note: Course boundaries have been changed: the area adjacent to #7 tee bounded
by cart path and side of dam is no longer an out of bounds area; starting with
2008, that entire area will be considered an additional part of the rough.
Note: Rain solutions: If event is rained out prior to start of play, that
event will be moved to the end of the season and played prior to the final
tournament or in conjunction with it. If an event has started and is
interrupted by rain and cannot be completed, the following options are
available to players:
-First option - finish up remaining holes with your opponents after play the
following Thursday; you will start on the tee box of the hole that you did not
finish (even if you hit a tee shot and were in the fairway or on the green);
-Second option - arrange with your opponents to come out at an earlier time any
day before the next Thursday to
finish your round with them.

be used to figure maximum strokes per hole.
Maximum handicap for this league is 20 for men and 25 for women. (See League Notebook for more detailed explanation
of handicap calculation.)
New Players note:
New
league players must submit five or more 9 hole
scores to get a handicap before the season starts (scorecards from previous
season okay). For those players
submitting fewer than five scores, a score of 35 for men and 36 for women for
up to five rounds will be placed in the handicap calculator.
