Manager's Saturday Morning
Scramble 2008
This is a nine hole event played on most
Saturday mornings during the golfing season. On occasion, inclement
weather and/or a planned special event (i.e., a VFW 18 hole scramble), will
bump the regular scramble. Teams will be made up ten minutes prior to
the start from players who have showed up, signed up or called in. Regular scramble
format will be used with the below listed variations being used on occasion.
Start times:
April: 9am
May-September: 8am
October: 9am
Variations:
-regular scramble on non par threes and individual stroke play on par
threes with two or three of the four scores counting. Alternate: play
only one or two of the par threes as stroke holes.
-teams will be divided into two sub teams who will play a two person
scramble and whose scores will be combined to make one team score. When
possible, A/B players will go out with other A/B players and C/D players will
go out with other C/D players.
